If you didn’t read my article in the last newsletter, I’d encourage you to go back and read it. It seems as if God is still blessing us mightily. The baptisms have not stopped. And most interestingly they are a very varied group. Adults, young people, teens, kids, etc. all seem to have a desire to exhibit their obedience to the Lord.
Our VBS program was a huge success with the best attendance we’ve ever had and many, many professions of faith. The New Life Kids Praise Team continues to be a hit with everyone. Their Father’s Day song was as sweet as could be.
We are in the throes of the summer, and we have fewer people in church but that is always the way this time of year. Numbers still remain strong in all opportunities for fellowship. The AM Fellowship in Matthew 5 has been greatly edifying and we have another great topic before us in verse 8. “Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.” Can you believe it! We are going to see God!!!
Of special note is the Sunday evening Fellowship on the future “Invasion of the Demons”. More have come to hear about this interesting topic, and I’ve decided to follow this series with a new series entitled “Everything You Wanted to Know About the Tribulation but Were Afraid to Ask”. I think it will be fun and enlightening. Someone asked me a few weeks ago what other prophecy must be fulfilled before the return of our Lord. My answer – all we gotta hear is the trumpet sound.
