Well, I’ve decided to move-this weather is just too good for me. Think I’ll try Siberia or the Northwest Territories. No really, how fortunate are we that as I write this on 24 December the predicted high is 79. May God be with our family and friends in colder climates.

It has been called many things: a reprieve, God’s mercy, justice, and just plain ole common sense. Of course I’m referring to the election results. Let me say this about that. For things to change in our great country there has to be much more than a leadership change in the White House. Yes, we applaud the recent results, but let’s be realistic. The only way for America to return to her former greatness is for a return to God. By that I mean, one witness and one heart at a time. Our complacency [God’s people] has got us where we are, and we are the answer to the problem. I believe that we are functioning under God’s mercy, but the time is short. Let’s double our efforts to further His Kingdom.

I was disappointed in the showing for Proposition 139. It was overwhelmingly approved and now more innocents will perish in the womb. This is an example of the desperate need for change in our country.

Well, what a great few weeks we’ve just had and have coming up. Baptisms, with more to come. The New Life Kids Christmas Store, where many were able to help provide gifts for their families. And a children’s Christmas play. Wow. I spoke to someone after the Christmas Fellowship, and they said they were amazed by how many youth and children were at the service. Praise God. Praise Him for the young families He’s bringing to our church. Praise Him for a viable and energetic Praise and Worship Team. Praise Him for our many dedicated workers. You are the reason that we are able to continue these all important programs. Thank you.

Nicki and I and our extended family wish you a great holiday season. May your 2025 be a blessing to all and glorify our Lord.
